Our Story

The draft of what would become today's Minancora began to be outlined in the early 20th century, when the Portuguese pharmacist Eduardo Augusto Gonçalves arrived in Brazil and met the Brazilian fauna and flora diversity.

That's how the handicraft manufacture of the famous Minancora® Pomada begins. The combination of benzalkonium chloride, zinc oxide and camphor guarantees its antiseptic and healing action to keep a healthy skin.

With the formula registered with the National Department of Public Health, the Minancora Cream began to be sold in several regions of Brazil. Gradually, Minancora becomes nationally known and part of the daily lives of thousands of people.

The company's headquarters was found in one of the most traditional spots in Joinville: Prince’s Street (Rua do Príncipe). In the place was operated the production of medicines and the drugstore. Today the building is considered a historic-cultural heritage in Joinville.
